Goals
Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Media Party with a brand identity reflecting its themes of technology, innovation, and the future. Experiment with AI tools like Craiyon/DALL-E mini to generate conceptual sketches, blending human creativity with machine-generated inspiration for posters, merchandise, and event assets.
Design Process
Hand-Drawn Ideation: Sketched initial concepts (technology motifs, futurism, the "X" symbol) on paper, prioritizing quantity over quality.
AI Exploration: Used text prompts (“futuristic geometry,” “digital innovation patterns,” “retro tech X”) in Craiyon/DALL-E mini to generate hundreds of low-fidelity concepts.
Curation & Refinement: Selected AI outputs with geometric cohesion, then vectorized and adapted them in Illustrator using Media Party’s color palette (vibrant gradients, stark contrasts).
Application: Expanded the logo into merchandise (t-shirts, stickers), credentials, and digital assets, ensuring consistency across touchpoints.
Final Result
A cohesive brand system applied to physical/digital assets, including animated social posts and event signage.
AI-informed patterns became a signature element, symbolizing the intersection of human and machine creativity.
Final Thoughts
AI didn’t replace my role—it amplified it. By generating hundreds of compositional ideas in minutes, I focused on curating and refining the best concepts. Tools like DALL-E are collaborators, not competitors, freeing designers to explore bolder creative frontiers.
